He was predeceased by: his parents, Edger Widner and Isabelle Widner (Poore); his daughter Brenda Widner Dotson; his grandson Parlon "P. J." Walker; and his siblings, Paul Widner (Betty), Wade Widner, Mary Lou Smith (Claude), Mabel Widner (J. T.) and Myrtle (Eugene).
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Widner; his daughter Becky Bertram (Anthony); his granddaughters, Brandy Greene (Ronnie) and KayLee Bertram; his great grandchildren, Courtney Carroll (Hunter), Michaela Skellinger (Hunter), Raegan Essary, Colby and Makenzie Greene; his great great grandchildren, Arabella, Liam Eldridge, Kade, Karlon Skellinger, Nolan and Avery Carroll; his brothers, Bob Widner (Pat) and Charlie Widner (Mary); and his sister-in-law Betty Jo Widner Essary.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Claiborne - Overholt Funeral Home (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Claiborne - Overholt Funeral Home Chapel.
