She was predeceased by: her parents, Tilmon Brooks and Annie Brooks; her spouses, Sillius Bailey and Andrew Jay Lay; her grandson Christopher Wolfenbarger; her siblings, Mattie Venable (Cecil), Mabel Goodin (Marvin), Margaret Brooks (Bruce) and Tim Brooks Jr. (Kay); her brothers-in-law, Don Brooks and Doug Harbin; and her nephew Jerry Venable.
She is survived by: her children, Milton Bailey (Margie), Judy Schweitzer (Steve) and Larry Bailey (Dawn); her grandchildren, Beth Moyers (Billy), David Johnson (Teresa), Charles Johnson (Melanie), Peter Bailey and Trevor Bailey (Shelby); her stepchildren, Andrea Grades and Frankie Lay; and her sisters, Marjorie Brooks and Jean Harbin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffey Funeral Home (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel (937 N Broad St, New Tazewell, TN 37825).
