It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Phipps (Tazewell, Tennessee), born in Oscaloosa, Kentucky, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wash Boggs and Annie Brashears Boggs; and her siblings, Vernon, Gillis Boggs, Eunice George, Olavay Stoner and Monetta Helton.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Earl Phipps of Tazewell, TN; and her brother Burl Boggs (June) of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
