He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parkey and Bettie Parkey. He is survived by: his sister Rose Ann Caylor (Raymond); his niece Shaunda Brooks (Gary); his nephew Derek Caylor (Amy); his great-nephew Grant Brooks; his great-niece Lydia Caylor; and his stepmother Birdie Parkey.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Alanthus Hill Community Center.
