He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mabe; his stepchildren, Martha Ayers, Crissy Robinson, Donald Horton and Michael Horton; his stepgrandson Hunter Ayers; and his siblings, Lewis (Joann Mabe), Lawrence (Ada Mabe), Sally Wilder, Willard Wilder, Kay Shoffner and Bob Shoffner. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
