He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Gibson (Smith) and James B. Gibson; his sisters, Bennie May Gibson, Hattie Mayes (Gibson) of Middlesboro, KY, Edith Phillips (Gibson) of Monroe and Eurekha Sellers (Gibson) of Knoxville, TN; and his son James Milton Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Helen Gibson (Lester); and his children, John David Gibson, Judy Lynn Gibson and Mary Margaret Butler (Gibson). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 21 great Grandchildren; 4 great great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
