He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dotson and Geneva Dotson; and his siblings, H. C. Dotson, Tommy Dotson and Nancy Dotson.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Dotson; his son Richie Dotson; his grandchildren, Draven Dotson and Ashlyn Arwood; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Dotson, Teresa Hollaway and Geneva Bierkamp; and his nieces, Sherry Burgin Bennett and Gina Spradlen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
