Eupha Elnora Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eupha Elnora Smith of Tazewell, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Charles "Pete" Smith; her parents, Herman Alston and Bessie Alston; her siblings, Jewel Nelson, Nan Gregory, Ray Alston, Pete Alston, Beverly "Bug" Alston and H. L. Alston; and her son H. L. Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Hurst, Charlotte Seals (Ron) and Donna Burnette; her grandchildren, Tiyawnah Miracle, Tyler Hurst and Joshua Smith (Rebekah); her great grandchildren, Allyson Miracle, Hezekiah Smith, Josiah Smith and Moriah Smith; her sister-in-law Florence Alston; her close friend Georgie Bowman; her pet Julio; and also, Rodney and Tracy Cochran.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Irish Cemetery.
