With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eupha Elnora Smith of Tazewell, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Charles "Pete" Smith; her parents, Herman Alston and Bessie Alston; her siblings, Jewel Nelson, Nan Gregory, Ray Alston, Pete Alston, Beverly "Bug" Alston and H. L. Alston; and her son H. L. Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Hurst, Charlotte Seals (Ron) and Donna Burnette; her grandchildren, Tiyawnah Miracle, Tyler Hurst and Joshua Smith (Rebekah); her great grandchildren, Allyson Miracle, Hezekiah Smith, Josiah Smith and Moriah Smith; her sister-in-law Florence Alston; her close friend Georgie Bowman; her pet Julio; and also, Rodney and Tracy Cochran.
