He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Akers; his parents, Sue Akers and Dennis Akers; and his mother-in-law Ellen Daniels. He is survived by: his sons, Josh Akers (Gracie Mcleod) and Daniel Akers (Kaitlyn Bailey); and his sisters, Shirley Brock (Steve) and Tammy Reeder (Dewey).
