He is survived by: his siblings, Oscar, Roy, Morris, David, Jim Smith, Eva Parker, Dorothy Maynes and Shirley Shumate; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Smith; his children, Joe Smith and Katie Smith; his grandchildren, Ciera, Paige and A. J.; his great grandchild Rayceton; and his sisters, Opal (Jim McCauley) and Betty (Bill Roark). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
