He is survived by: his sister Jean Porter (Margie Johnston); his children, Jeremiah Johnston (Brittany) and Ginger Greene (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jayden, Jackson, Shelby and Eleanor Johnston; and his siblings, Mac Johnston (Jane), Wayne Johnston (Glenda), Sherry Maxwell, Joyce Schaub (Don), Jan Miller and Jawana Jackson (Steve).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cave Springs Cemetery (1506 Cave Springs Rd, Tazewell, TN 37879).
