He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hearon and Maggie Hearon; and his son Michael Hearon. He is survived by: his wife Alma Sue Byrd Hearon; his son Jerry Hearon (Cynthia); his grandsons, Andy Hearon (Kacie), Matt Hearon (Jamey), Caleb Hearon and Noah Hearon; his great grandchildren, Abram Hearon, Carol Sue Hearon, Avery Hearon and Ella Hearon; his sisters, Irma Blythe (Kenneth) and Ernestine Russell (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Meyer and Ronnie Byrd (Maxine).
