She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon C. Mullins and Ola Irene Mullins (Cox); her husband Marvin L. Brown; and her siblings, Denver C. Mullins and Sharon Kay Robinson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Julie (Bill Byrd) and Jackie (Gary Schmitt); her sister Wathalene Rasner; and her grandchildren, Saundra Schreifels (Steve) and Alex Schmitt. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
