She was predeceased by: her husband W. B. Sherrod; her parents, Floyd Mack Maynard and Iva Trapp; and her sisters, Carolyn Clark and Marie Niswanger.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd Sherrod, Donald Sherrod (Etta), Walter Sherrod (Wanda) and Barbara Boley (Bobby); and her close friends, Kent and Karen Hightower. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
