It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Byrd Jr. of Talbott, Tennessee, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlen Richard "Pat" and Frankie Taylor Byrd; and his sister Sonya Stokes Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sipe Byrd; his daughter Carla Hickey (Scott); and his grandchildren, Kailey Lipton (Julian) and Caroline Hickey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Morristown Baptist Tabernacle.
