He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dalton and Ruth Dalton; his parents-in-law, John and Amelia Rasnake; his sons, John Howard Dalton and Phillip Dalton, Jr.; and his siblings, Jerry Dalton and Mary Helen Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Dalton; his daughters, Michelle Hicks (James), Deborah Dalton, Patty Welch and Dr. Sandra Dalton; his daughter-in-law Donna Logan Dalton; his grandchildren, Zachary Dalton (Jake), Matthew McNabb, Hayden Hicks, Ian Dalton, Tommy Welch, Michael Welch and Kristin Guida (Shawn); his siblings, Carmen Hundley (Tom), Brenda Wheaton (Gary), Greg Dalton (Rhonda), Larry Dalton (Tina) and Howard Dalton (Glenda); and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Rasnake and Sheila Britton. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
