She was predeceased by: her husband John Samuel Mayes; her parents, Clyde Patterson and Vesta Patterson; and her siblings, Irene Hodge, Kathleen Bishop, Virginia Hixon, Johnny Patterson and Ruben Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Booher (Kent) of Port Orange, FL., Cynthia Mayes of Talbott, TN and Tim Mayes of Morristown, TN; her grandchildren, Jonathan Booher of Port Orange, FL and Hannah Booher of Fargo, ND; her siblings, Viola Colley, Ruby Smith and Charles Patterson (Shirley); her siblings-in-law, Freda Patterson and Lee Bishop; her friends, Ron, Jeannie Saunders, Donnie and Dolly Lawson; and her close friend Elaine Elkins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
