She was predeceased by: her siblings, Maxie Taylor, Johnny Buell, Clarence Buell, Lebert Buell and Flora Holt; her granddaughter Gina Carroll Lawson; and her great grandchild Brian Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Lynn Hightower (Constance), Marilyn Ruth Bowers-Foulks and Kathy Sue Carroll-Hightower; her grandchildren, Lisa Carroll-Noe, Sharleen Carroll-Farmer and Michael R. Bowers; and her sisters, Betty King and Elizabeth Carroll. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends including her special friends.
