He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carpenter; his children, Brianna Williams Carpenter, Richard Carpenter of Talbott and Timothy Carpenter of Talbott; his siblings, Debbie Carpenter, Brenda Williams, David Carpenter, Lynn Carpenter, Scott Carpenter and Jeff Singleton; and his aunts and uncles, Johnny Singleton, Charlie Singleton, Wanda Singleton, Kathy Singleton and Dorothy Singleton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
