He is survived by: his son Colby Scarlett; his grandson Jaxson Scarlett; his sisters, Sami Scarlett (Dennis Pell) and Beth Cox (Marc); his nieces and nephews, Jonathan Jones (Beth Morie), Sydnee Lowery (Jordy Cross), Tanner Lowery (Allison), Cameron Cox and Jayde Lamb; his great-niece Lyla B. Jones; and his aunts, LaVonda Knight and Jodi Shults.
