He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Greene; his parents, Kimbrough Greene and Nancy Greene; and his siblings, Ray Greene (Anna Mae), Forrest Greene, Randall Greene, Odom Greene, Mattie Bell Williams (Malcolm), Evolene Greene and Odell Bell (Joe).
He is survived by: his children, Danny Greene (Jennifer) and Karen Smelcer (John); his grandchildren, Danna Moore (Samuel), Jenna Helton (Ricky) and Lanna Hall (Sam); and his great grandchildren, Levi Helton, Mason, Oliver and Parker Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
