She was predeceased by: her husband George W. Simpson; her parents, Benjamin Kelley and Susie Kelley; and her siblings, Cecelia Fox, Junior Kelley, John Kelley and Billy James Kelley.
She is survived by: her sister Clara Gallaher; her children, Susan Adams (David) and David Simpson (Susan); and her grandchildren, Kelley Carroll, Christy McMurray (Tim), Nicole Kincaid (Eric), Brandy Gass and David A. Simpson. She is also survived by 10 great- grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
