She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Merica; her brother Michael Smith; and her mother Mary Smith-Jarnigan. She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Tonya Smith), Robert, Kelly Sawyer and Jackie (Michelle Sawyer); and her grandchildren, Nate, Dylan, Jeremiah, Raven, Skyler, Jaycee, Johnny Lynn, Michael Allen and Tina.
