He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Henry Cotter and Jessie Smith Cotter; and his brothers, Frankie and Robert Cotter. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Cotter; his sons, Dale Cotter (DeAnna), Kevin Cotter (Marianne) and Russell Cotter (Laura); his grandchildren, Amelia Cotter, Israel Freeman and Abby Morgan; his sister Jeanette West; his close friend Donald Dalton; and his pet Roscoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
