Brock Towner Obituary
Brock F. Towner, 48, of Talbott, TN and formerly of Sandusky, left this earth to go home to be with the Father on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Jefferson City, TN. Brock was the oldest of five children, born in Sandusky on October 31, 1971. At only three years of age he became a world traveler by accompanying his parents to Athens, Greece for two years.
Upon his return he attended Perkins Schools where he participated in sports programs, including football and track. Brock was a 1990 graduate of Perkins High School. As a youth Brock attended and was baptized at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Sandusky, where the late Pastor Curtis A. Brown was his pastor. Brock enjoyed spending time with family, fishing with his Grandfather, and hunting, later in life.
He was an avid Ohio State fan. From a previous marriage was born his daughter, Tamerra T. Towner. On December 15, 2006, Brock was joined to the former Stephanie Weber in holy matrimony. In 2007 Brock and his new bride left Sandusky to move to Talbott, TN where they resided until his death. Brock leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 14 years, Stephanie (Weber) Towner, of Talbott, TN; parents, Bobby and Tonya Towner, of Sandusky; three brothers, Dorian and Robert Towner, both of Sandusky, and Keenan Pate, of Kentucky; sister, Jaquay Arnold, of Sandusky; daughter, Tamerra Tonya Towner, of Sandusky; two stepsons, Cyrus and Macyah Tucker, both of Talbott, TN; stepdaughter, Kedesha Tucker, of Talbott, TN; grandchild, Nova, of Sandusky; five step grandchildren, Dominick, Mauricio, Alfaro, Jr., Aliejah, and Ahriyah, all of Talbott, TN; father-in-law, Dennis Weber, of Talbott, TN; mother-in-law, Marcia (Jeffrey) Reed, of Sandusky; special brother-in-law, Dennis "Buddy" Weber; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Brock was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Edith Towner; maternal grandfather, Dennis F. Bates; aunt, Valencia Bates-Boyd; and nephew, Gavin B. Towner (in infancy). Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 24 until funeral services begin at 12 p.m. at Eagle's Nest Church, 2126 Pipe St., Sandusky.
