We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 91, Billy Rugel of Talbott, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Billy departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Billy. Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Rugel and Mae Smith Rugel; and his brother Gary Rugel. He is survived by: his siblings, Leonard Rugel (Joan) and Joan Rugel; and his nieces, Laura (Mike) and Karla.

A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunderland Cemetery (6900 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Talbott, TN 37877).
