She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dawson and Ruby Hughes Dawson; her sister Pat Bettis; and her husband Bud Bales. She is survived by: her son Bill; her daughter-in-law Beth Bales; her sisters, Joann Bruce, Ella Dean Shively and Barbara Glenn; and her close friends, Shelby Watkins and Berl Dean Hicks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and the many children.
