He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Harley and Octavia Harris Churchwell; his spouses, Catherene Bostic and Catherine Churchwell; his daughter Karen Long (Tommy); his grandson Kyle Long (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Christian Long and Kayla Long. He was also cherished by two brothers; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Shriners Crippled Children's Fund.
