He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wingler Birt of Taft; his children, Alicia Repasky (Matt) of Taft and Bradley Birt of Champaign, IL; his grandchildren, Hunter Repasky (Kelsie) of Taft and Hannah Repasky of Taft; and his siblings, Cathy Naripoku of Port Charlotte, FL, Denny Birt (Jan) of Savoy, IL and David Birt (Mary) of Tacoma, WA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
