He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel Charles W. and Ruie Scobey Price; and his spouse Jutta "Judy" Witt Price. He is survived by: his children, Mark William Price (Rachel) of Nashville, Kim Price Mercer (Dane) of Sweetwater and Carolyn Price Hayes of Knoxville; and his grandchildren, Jamie Morrow (Shawn), Jonathan Mercer (Sarah), Mary Katherine Wormsley (Jordan), Hannah-Grace Hayes and Alexandra Emma Hayes (Max Ball). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
