He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Tapley and Norma Jean Tapley; and his brother Tom "Tinker" Tapley. He is survived by: his wife Linda Tapley of Sweetwater; his children, Kristen Smith of Lincoln, Karen Danos of Madisonville, Heather Thompson of Madisonville and Christopher Thompson of Madisonville; his grandchildren, Eric Borden, Erin Borden, Devin Borden, Blake Rider, Tawney Johnston, Justus Thompson, Braden Smith and Brice Smith; his sister Lori Tapley-Schreck of St. Charles, MO.; and his close friends, Marcel Sablan and Tom Potter. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
