She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Shepherd and Mattie Wade Shepherd; her granddaughters, Emily Flynn and Daphne Caroline Miracle; her son-in-law Jerry Dills; and her siblings, Charles Shepherd, Jake Shepherd, Johnny Shepherd, Warren Shepherd, Joyce Hardin, Shirley Hicks and Joanne Baker.

She is survived by: her husband George Braden; her children, Sherry Dills, Rhonda Buhl, Jerry Foust, Jr. and Sharon Mills; her sisters, Faye Raby, Linda Mannuel and Dorothy Johnson; and her pets, Penny, Diana and Chase. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
