He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Farmer and Bonnie Taylor Farmer; and his siblings, Frank Farmer, Gus Farmer, Sandy Akins, Elvis Farmer and Danny Farmer.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Carter Farmer; his children, John Farmer (Pam) and Malinda "Sissy" Efaw (Tim Thomason); his grandsons, Jacob Efaw, Ethan Efaw and Joseph Farmer; his great grandchildren, Beau Torbett, Callum Torbett, Tucker Thomason and Cade Lee; his siblings, Kenneth Farmer (Cheryl) and Donna Woodby (Gary); and his brother-in-law Akins. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
