She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Haire; her parents, Albert L. Denton and Sophie Burnette Denton; and her brothers, Vaughn Denton and Timothy L. Denton.

She is survived by: her son Christopher D. Haire; her sister Sue Prince (William); her niece Lee Ann Leatherwood (Charles); and her great-niece Alyssa Hamilton.
