He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Lee Carter; and his grandparents, John D., Lora Lou Carter, Jimmy D. and Laura Lucille Sturgill.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Heaven Carter) and Dylan Carter of Sweetwater; his sister Samantha; his brother-in-law Eric Price; his brother Brian; his sister-in-law Chrystal Carter; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon L. Carter, Miranda S. Carter, Madison D. Carter and Cameron L. Price.
