It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rufus Ledford Lowe (Sweetwater, Tennessee), who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Lowe and Bertha Randolph Lowe; his grandson Joey Watson; and his siblings, Millard Lowe, Dillard Lowe of Virgil Lowe, J. W, Dorothy Easter and Retha Kyle.

He is survived by: his children, Anita Watson (Jimmy) of Decatur, TN., Rufus Ledford Lowe, Jr. of Sweetwater, TN., Austin Lowe (Carolyn) of Sweetwater, TN. and Darlene Simmons of Loudon, TN.; and his great-niece Karen (George Shubert). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
