He is survived by: his wife Miriam Joyce Hunt Jones of Sweetwater; his daughters, Karla Davis of Chalmette, LA and Betty Sasnett of Apalachicola, FL; his stepchildren, B. J. Renk of Sweetwater, Regina Jones (Eddie) of Sweetwater, Frank Massey (Peggy) of Leesburg, FL, Robert Massey of Nashville, TN, Michael Massey of Nashville, TN and Vernon Brown (Bridgett) of Clermont, FL; and his siblings, Carol Swearingen (Buddy) of Bushnell, FL and William "Bill" Jones of St. Cloud, FL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
