With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Steven Phipps of Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on November 27, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Winston and Mary Phipps; his siblings, Jean Braden and Charles Phipps; and his niece Lisa.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Goodpaster Phipps; his children, Robert Nathanial Phipps, Alysa Martin Phipps, Jessica Phipps Morgan and Chuck Morgan; his siblings, George Phipps and Judy Gay of Ohio; his niece Jennifer; his nephew Chris; his cousin Terry Cheek; his friend Mike Westfall; and his grandchildren, McKenzi Morgan, Ella Morgan, Caleb Phipps and Charlee Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to SonRise Assembly of God, 405 Kinzalow Drive, Sweetwater TN 37874, where Robert humbly served as a deacon and he was loved well by a wonderful congregation.
