He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Pettitt; his parents, Benjamin Isaac and Ruby Irene Skinner Pettitt; and his sister June Knowles. He is survived by: his wife Reba Pettitt of Sweetwater; his sons, Robert Keith (Judy Pettitt) of Sweetwater, Tim Pettitt of Sweetwater and Jeff (Ginger Pettitt); his grandchildren, Laura Shelton, Julie Fitch, Avery, Tyler, Nickolas, Braden, Isaac, Karli and Lincoln Pettitt; his great grandchildren, Naomi Shelton, Ava and Ty Fitch; and his siblings, Sandy Pettitt Burnette and Jimmy Miller. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Knox Rescue Ministries.
