She was predeceased by: her husband Forrest Conklin; her parents, Lester Earl Bowman and Gladys Montooth Bowman; and her parents-in-law, Royal Forrest and Monte Lee Sneed Conklin.
She is survived by: her son Chris Conklin (Allison Sheridan) of Cedar Falls, IA; and her aunt Doris Montooth of Sweetwater, TN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, students, and special friends.
