She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Norton and Harriet Norton (Squibb); her former husband Norman Shannon; her children, Mike Shannon, Scott Shannon (Lisa) and Pat Shannon (Denise); her great grandchildren, Taylor Shannon, Meaghan Shannon Richards (Thomas), Lauren Shannon Farris (Jordan), Kyle Shannon (Courtney) and Reid Shannon; her husband Carl Sturgill; her children, Greg Sturgill (Lisa) and Dana Bryant (Dean); her grandchildren, Taylor Shannon, Meaghan Richards (Thomas), Lauren Farris (Jordan), Kyle Shannon (Courtney), Reid Shannon and Livie Shannon; her siblings, Earlene Roach (Don), Sam Norton and Sharon Norton; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Armstrong and Aileen Sturgill. She was also cherished by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
