He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Kyker and Sophia Mae Kyker; his sisters, Eloise Presley and Lavonne Frazier; his son John Michael; and his grandson Jacob Dewayne Kyker.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carpenter Kyker; his children, Darrell Kyker (Suzanne) of Athens, TN, Daris Kyker of Sweetwater, TN, Leon Poe (Donna) of Sweetwater, TN, Lori Scheer (Will) of John's Island and Michelle Shrum (Mark) of Chattanooga, TN; and his grandchildren, Michael Kyker, Kristen Patterson, Stomer Zarr, Shane Kyker, Jordan Martin, Luke Shrum, Jay Kyker, Mollie Brackett, Bailey Willhoit, McKenna Flaherty, Sophia Flaherty, Tyler Poe and Cheyanne Poe. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
