He was predeceased by: his wife Frieda; his son Dennis; his siblings, Ella Mae, Letha, Tom, Robert and Dainie; and his parents, W. T. and Annie.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dusty, Ashlee, Esco (Ben), David and Kelly; his sister Betty; and his sister-in-law Nancy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
