Nathaniel Ellison Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathaniel Ellison of Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Nathaniel farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nathaniel is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Ellison and Marie Ellison Jones; his brother Danny Ellison; and his daughter Lisa Ellison Miller. He is survived by: his wife Carol Cooper Ellison; his sons, Don Ellison (Barbara) and Tommy Ellison (April) of Sweetwater, TN.; and his siblings, Marry Anne Yates of Madisonville, Ruth Roberts of Niota, Susanna Hochertz of Riceville, Eve Morgan of Athens and Samuel Ellison of Madisonville. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, three great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sweetwater Valley Memorial Park (1838 US-11, Sweetwater, TN 37874).
