She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Theodore and Myrtle Chapman; and her siblings, Gene Chapman, Nelene Hicks and Estella Howell.
She is survived by: her son Mike Nelson (Margie); her grandchildren, Michael Nelson (Ashley), Danielle Nelson and Christopher Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Aeriana and Kinsley Nelson.
