He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Miller and Viola Miller; his siblings, Patsy Miller and Billy Miller; and his brother-in-law Doug Reno.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Miller; his children, Chris Miller (Stephanie), Melvin R. Miller, Jr. (Wendy Hudson), Brandy Milsaps (Jamey), Cheyenne, Christine Miller and James Billy Ray Miller (Janet); his grandchildren, Taylor, Braden Milsaps, Annie and Haylea Miller; his great grandchild Kaidyan Tyler; his brother Timmy Miller; and his sister-in-law Betty Talley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
