Crisp of Sweetwater, Tennessee, born in Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Jackson Rogers and Martha Anne Nichol Rogers; her husband Gary Crisp (late Edward Powell); and her siblings, Lois Anne Rogers Weber, Samuel Jackson Rogers II and Sara Elizabeth Rogers Barham.
She is survived by: her son James Logan Powell. She is also survived by close friends along the way, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request to light a candle or plant a memorial tree in honor of Mary's love for trees and nature.
