He is survived by: his children, Renia McCowan of Dalton, GA, Brent 'Peanut McCowan of Athens, TN, Issac McCowan (Ashia) of Dalton, GA, Gene Bradley (Wilma) of Knoxville, TN, Margaret Ellison, Valerie Ellison, Fredrick Ellison, Vann Ellison and Annette Wilson (Neet); his grandchildren, Demetria McCowan, AonDrea Parris, Kasha Taylor, Alyssa McCowan, Drake McCowan, Zack Peasant, Tre Brewster, Lanika Bradley, Brentney Brabson, Demetrius Brabson and Monique Bradley; his great grandchildren, Noah Parris, Paisley Henderson, Leighton Henderson, Xya Peasant and Zaiden Brewster; his sister Zella Smith; and his sister-in-law Ethel Mae McCowan (Ruth Jenkins). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
