It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Houston Crabtree Sr. of Sweetwater, Tennessee, born in Ten Mile, Tennessee, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Crabtree and Maggie Alberta Easter Crabtree; his son David Cleveland Crabtree; and his siblings, Kathleen C. Dew, Peggy Ann Johnson, Jack, Jim, Ted and Tower Crabtree.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Chappell McQuiddy Crabtree; his children, Joseph H. Crabtree, Jr. (Teresa), Melissa Marie Crabtree and Ted Gordon Crabtree (Pam); his grandchildren, Joseph H. Crabtree, III, Catherine Null (Joe), Zachary Crabtree, Hannah Crabtree, Wade Crabtree, Sara Crabtree, Elizabeth Crabtree and Jesse McQuiddy Crabtree; and his great grandchildren, Lily Rice and Ruthie Null.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Unicef to support Ukraine or the Boys and Girls Club of the Ocoee Region.
