He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo Wilson Estes; his parents, William Edgar "W. E." and Mary Helen Estes Jr.; his siblings, Douglas Estes and Kay Hatton; and his sister-in-law Mildred "Millie" Estes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer (Randy Hicks) and Bridgette (Shawn Vestal); his grandchildren, Kylee of Sweetwater, Gray Hicks of Sweetwater, Madisyn of Sweetwater and Kailyn Vestal of Sweetwater; and his siblings, Eddie Estes, Jerry, Robin Estes and Elizabeth (Ronnie Mincy).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Finish the Vision Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Sweetwater, The American Diabetes Association, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
